Kate brings over 10 years of experience creating fine art with stained glass as her primary medium. While she is mostly self-taught she has also studied with the prestigious Powers brothers of Phoenix.
Her glass work is usually pictorial in nature. Combining opaque and translucent glass with large areas of solder-work, creating a 3-dimensional depiction of incredible landscapes and skies.
Her largest project is a series of installations at the boutique hotel: Inn at Port Hadlock. Many of her pieces are part of the the incredible renovation project transforming the Inn into a one of a kind must see destination on the Olympic Peninsula. Her work has also been included in several publications, books and sourcebooks.
Kate currently resides in the Cascade Mountains of Western Washington.
